We all want our training to make an impact, whether it’s improving lives or the bottom line. Identifying the desired outcomes is easy. Knowing if we nailed them – not so easy; yet, that’s what we’re held accountable for.
John Swinney has been involved in measuring results for more than 40 years. He will discuss the four-level evaluation process popularized by Donald Kirkpatrick, and the pros and cons of using this model.
Even if you’re doing well at steps 1 (reaction) and 2 (learning), steps 3 (behavior change) and 4 (actual results) might still seem unattainable. John will help you understand how you can get there from wherever you are now. (There is no magic; it’s not that difficult.)
You’ll walk away from this session with a measurement planning tool you can use to evaluate training effectiveness within your own organization.
